This will be my all-time favorite sidewalk cafe in Paris. It’s right across the street from Saint Sulpice.
After a rather disconcerting visit to the cathedral, where we encountered a written demonstration against the book, The Da Vinci Code, we landed in these little yellow chaises for le petit dejeuner.
And it was a feast, with baguettes, salade nicoise and excellent coffee creme.
Sidewalk cafes are always interesting in a chic-chic area like this … as French ladies walk by your table with the scent of their perfume trailing behind them, you get a potpourri of marvelous fragrances at a better price than in the shops.
