Art on the prairie

But we find art on the prairie. In the color of the long stems of grass and the pattern of tree bark.  It’s in the rock texture.  The way the leaves curl against each other in the cold.  The color of a leaf.  The softness of thistle down.

What colors should we load our palettes with, to paint this marvel?  Payne’s gray, raw sienna, burnt umber, alizarin crimson, Cerulean blue, Naples yellow, red oxide, Indian yellow, unbleached titanium.
