These are not the original Adobe Walls of the song (or Indian/Cavalry battle), but they are adobe walls on Gallisteo Road in Santa Fe. Luminarias on the top and a lovely lantern in the niche.
But speaking of Michael Martin Murphy, I managed to get a CD of his while still in Santa Fe. Robert and I had dinner at our favorite Plaza Cafe for the last evening — and on the way back to the Hacienda, we played “Geronimo’s Cadillac” and sang at the top of our lungs! I shall never forget it.
